One of the safest places in the world. Violent crime is virtually nonexistent. Petty theft is very rare.
Recommendations
Extremely safe country. Normal precautions are more than enough. Easy to visit as a day trip from Italy. Very walkable.

Tap water: Excellent — generally safe to drink from the tap.
Excellent healthcare (shared standards with Italy). Tap water is safe.
Entry and exit
Visa-free for most up to 90 days in Schengen (as it uses the same rules as Italy).
Laws
Strict on drugs. Very low corruption and highly orderly society.
Other notes
Beautiful historic center and stunning views. Very clean and well-maintained. Can be visited easily in a day. Friendly locals and excellent food and wine.
