Lithuania is very safe for tourists. Violent crime is extremely rare. Petty theft exists in Vilnius tourist areas but is low. The country has excellent police and emergency services. It feels very safe to walk around even at night in most areas. Road safety is high. Overall, Lithuania offers an exceptionally low-risk environment.
